EXETER — Four separate Exeter High School wrestlers won by pin during Wednesday night’s season-opening dual meet with Windham.

It was the low weight classes that Exeter had to forfeit that kept the Blue Hawks from booking a win.

Windham picked up uncontested wins at 113, 126 and 220 pounds, which was largely the difference in a 41-30 decision on Exeter’s mat.

The Blue Hawks got pins from Justin Tatman (120), Tannar Thornton (160), Kyle Cotoia (170), Nick Beebe (182) and Bourque (195).

The Jaguars were tough in the middle weights. Connor Sills (132 vs. Jack Hess), Malay Agarwal (138 vs. Gage Bolduc) and Riley Millette (145 vs. Alex Hagen) all won by pin. Windham’s AJ Suliveras (152 vs Matt Cotoia) won by default.

The Blue Hawks will compete at the ConVal Early Bird meet this Saturday in Peterborough.
