Ham and Bean Supper: Sponsored by the Madbury United Church of Christ, 5 to 6:30 p.m., Saturday, July 20. Kids under 12 eat free. Menu includes baked ham from George Calefís Fine Foods in Barrington, a variety of homemade baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, assorted breads, a 21-item salad bar, handcrafted fruit and cream pies, and beverages. Cost is $9 for adults and children 12 and older. Dinner takes place at the Madbury Town Hall at 13 Town Hall Road. All welcome.
Seacoast Community Lunch: Free lunch every Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at Middle Street Baptist Church, 18 Court St., Portsmouth. All are welcome.
Bowl of soup: Prepared by a local restaurant, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. every Friday, at the Newmarket Community Church, 137 Main St. Newmarket.This service is provided without charge, donations accepted.
Free community meal: 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, at Rochester Fellowship Kitchen, First United Methodist Church, 34 South Main St., Rochester.
Free community dinner: 5 p.m. every Wednesday, from the Table of Plenty, Berwick Methodist Church, 37 School St., across from Cumberland Farms.
Table of Plenty: 5-6 p.m. every Thursday. Community dinner at St. Raphael's Church on Whipple Road in Kittery, Maine. All are welcome.
