The Bar: Barrio
319 Vaughan St.
The Bartender: Jay Drinker
Age entered the hospitality industry: 16, waiting tables at Riverwoods
What he likes about his job: I love the service aspect, and the creativity of the job. I like the challenge of having people asking me to make them something, with a particular taste in mind. I can do that, with a twist of my own.
A good story: We had a customer come in and buy a round of shots for everyone in the restaurant. I didnít know people still do that. He had a $500 bill and he left a $500 tip.
On winning the lottery: I would give a large part away to help people, at least 50 percent. Then I think Iíd buy a boat, maybe a nice sailboat. I love the ocean.
Dream job: Something creative, like art photography or music. I like creating things.
