EXETER — Some of the biggest names in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination are headed to the Seacoast in the coming days. This includes former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Kamala Harris, Sen. Cory Booker and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

Buttigieg will make three stops in the region on Friday. The one-time longshot, who has surged to top-tier status in recent months, will kick off Friday with a 7:45 a.m. house party in Rye. Buttigieg then heads to Dover for a 9:30 a.m. campaign event at the Rotary Arts Pavilion at Henry Law Park. Then he’s off to Rochester, for a noontime tour of downtown with City Councilor Jeremy Hutchinson.

Later Friday, at 6 p.m., former Vice President Joe Biden will be in Portsmouth. Biden will headline the New Hampshire Young Democrats' Red, White, & BBQ, the group’s annual summer fundraiser, at Cisco Brewers (formerly Redhook Ale Brewery) at Pease International Tradeport.

On Saturday, Booker of New Jersey will hold a 5 p.m. house party in Exeter. The gathering will be held at the home of Sue and Tom Fitzgerald at 5 Robin Lane.

Also on Saturday, Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts will be holding an ice cream social at Exeter’s Bungalow Club starting at 3 p.m.

Harris will pay a visit to the Tri-Cities on Sunday. The California Democrat will headline a town hall at Somersworth High School with doors opening at 3:45 p.m.

Also on Sunday, former U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas is expected to return to the Seacoast. Details on the event are still pending.
