11:38 a.m.: Caller from a Lafayette Road shopping plaza reported a child left in a car alone. Police arrived on scene and determined the car was running. An officer stayed with the 7-year-old until his mother returned from shopping.
12:39 p.m.: Responded to a Lafayette Road business for a report of a shoplifter fighting with store employees. Arrested Valmore K. Langelier, 31, of 600 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, on charges alleging willful concealment, resisting arrest or detention, theft, criminal mischief and arrest on a warrant.
12:47 p.m.: Responded to a property damage accident at the intersection of Constitution Avenue and Lafayette Road. No injuries.

2:46 p.m.: State police arrested Jacob Gadomski, 19, of 25 Elise Drive, Berwick, Maine, on a charging alleging theft from a motor vehicle.
2:56 p.m.: Walk-in report taken about a theft of a motor vehicle with a suspect.
3:34 p.m.: Hampton Falls police arrested Amy Carlino, 31, of 74 Wheeler Ave., Cranston, Rhode Island, on a Portsmouth police warrant alleging three counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.
5:01 p.m.: Responded to Lafayette Road about a suspicious duffel bag behind a dumpster and secured the bag.
7:47 p.m.: Responded to a property damage hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Junkins Avenue and Pleasant Street. Police determined an orange and black motorcycle hit a vehicle and then left.
11:25 p.m.: Responded to Portwalk Place for a report of a male guest who had been asked to leave by hotel staff but refused to go. Staff said he was also very aggressive toward the woman he was staying with. Arrested Bradford T. Cassidy, 36, of 15 New Hampshire Ave., Apt. 3, Somerville, Massachusetts, on a charge alleging resisting arrest or detention.
