KENNEBUNK - Because the Kennebunk Free Library Summer Reading Theme is ďA Universe of Stories,Ē many of this summerís programs involve space or space travel. However, there are plenty of wide open spaces to explore right here on Earth.

On Wednesday, July 10 at 6 p.m., Kathleen Nolan will be at KFL to share photos and stories about her adventures in Antarctica. On Wednesday, July 31, Nolan will return to talk about her excursion to the high arctic.

Kathleen Nolan is a retired teacher who has traveled to Europe more than 50 times, the Arctic, Antarctic, South America, six countries in Africa, Nepal, Mongolia, China, and Tibet.
