SPRINGVALE — La Famille LeBlanc from Lewiston will perform traditional Franco-American music at the Sanford-Springvale Historical Museum at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 13.
This is the group's second appearance locally, and they are back by popular demand.
The Famille LeBlanc has been performing since 1986, first in New Hampshire and now in many parts of Maine. This is an opportunity to hear music that represents so many of the families who contributed to the history of Sanford and Springvale and nearby communities. Those who wish to attend are urged to purchase or reserve their tickets in advance. For more information or to reserve tickets, call or stop in to the museum during their hours of operation (207 490-1028); Friday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m. The Historical Museum is located at 505 Main St., Springvale.
Price is $15 for persons 18 and older. There is no charge for those under 18 but their seats must be reserved. The Museum is air conditioned and handicapped accessible.
