8:38 a.m.: Police received a call from Borthwick Avenue at the Portsmouth hospital about a hit and run property damage accident in their parking lot. No injuries and no suspects. Report taken.
10:09 a.m.: Police issued a summons to a driver at the intersection of the Route 1 Bypass North and Cottage Street.
10:37 a.m.: Police towed a vehicle on Parrott Avenue for violating the 72 hour parking limit.
10:59 a.m.: Police received a call about a property damage accident at the intersection of Interstate 95 and Market Street. No injuries. Report taken.
11:23 a.m.: Police were given a found Macy’s credit card at a Parrott Avenue location. Report taken.
11:23 a.m.: Police received a report of a fraud from a Manchester Square location. The employee reported that a $9,000 check was cashed three times. Report taken.
11:38 a.m.: Police issued a summons to a transient man for drinking in public on State Street.
1:09 p.m.: Police responded to a report of graffiti at a Market Street location. Report taken.
1:44 p.m.: Police responded to a report of three dogs living in squalor at a Decatur Road location. Report taken.
2:27 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a dog in a locked car on Market Street while the temperature outside was 84. Police responded to the scene and reported the dog seemed to be having difficulty breathing. The dog did not seem distressed but the car was surrounded by bystanders. An officer ended up securing the dog and sought information on the car’s owner. Report taken.
2:47 p.m.: Police arrested a North Hampton man for driving after revocation after he was stopped on Interstate 95. Police arrested Ronald J. Ciotti, 39, of 17 Seabrook Drive, North Hampton, for driving after revocation and false inspection or registration sticker.
4:20 p.m.: Police responded to a minor accident on Woodbury Avenue involving a Portsmouth Police cruiser and a Guilford cruiser. Minor damage. No injuries. Report taken.
4:43 p.m.: Police responded to Holiday Drive after a mother reported that her 18-year-old son threatened her with a knife and is now walking around the neighborhood. Police responded to the scene and found the 18-year-old, got the knife from him and took him into custody. Police arrested Alexander Wilcox, 18, 53 Holiday Drive, Apt. A, Portsmouth, and charged him with domestic violence, criminal threatening and criminal mischief.
5:52 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a highly intoxicated female on Islington Street near the Keefe House. The caller said the woman almost walked in front of a bus, walked into a sign and keeps falling over. Police and fire responded to the scene and eventually were able to get the woman to Portsmouth Hospital. Report taken.
6:06 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a personal injury accident between a car and a bicycle on Islington Street. The victim only suffered minor injuries. Report taken.
8:30 p.m.: Police issued a summons to a driver at the intersection of Maplewood Avenue and Deer Street for marijuana possession.
