ALTON ó Authorities have charged an 11-year-old juvenile with the murder and attempted murder of two adults.
The N.H. Attorney Generalís Office said a 911 call was received around 7:30 a.m. Friday morning about a reported shooting at 76 Dobbins Way. Officers from the Alton Police Department responded to the residence and found Lizette Eckert, 50, dead from a gunshot wound and James Eckert, 48, injured from gunshot wounds. James Eckert was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital and was listed in critical condition Friday night, authorities say.
The 11-year-old was arrested at around 9:30 a.m. Friday, after a search by Alton police and the Belknap Regional Special Operations Group. The juvenile was charged, under juvenile laws, with one count of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
Authorities didnít release any addition information about the 11-year-old, citing juvenile laws, or specify what the juvenileís relationship was with the victims.
An autopsy is scheduled to be done on Lizette Eckert Saturday in Concord.
