St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Dance set for March 16

EPPING — The American Legion Post 51 is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Dance featuring the Road Salt Trio Band on Saturday, March 16.

The New England boiled-dinner includes your choice of corned beef or ham and all the fixings. Tickets are on sale now. Only 100 tickets will be sold for this St. Patrick’s Day dinner that will be served between 6 to 7:30 p.m. The tickets must be purchased in advance for $15 per person.

Tickets will be sold until they run out or until the cutoff date of March 13. This ticket does include entrance to the dance that will begin at 8 p.m. The Road Salt Trio Band will be playing classic rock and country music.

O'Neil Cinemas hosting March blood drive

EPPING — O’Neil Cinemas is hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross on Friday, March 15.

The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the theater at Brickyard Square, 24 Calef Highway, Epping.

Ham and Bean Supper set for March 16

KENSINGTON  — The Kensington Congregational Church is hosting a traditional New England Ham and Bean Supper on Saturday, March 16.

The supper will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the church located at 108 Amesbury Road on Route 150 in the center of Kensington.

The menu includes two kinds of home cooked beans, best quality ham, baked mac and cheese, old fashioned brown bread, rolls, potato salad, coleslaw, home cooked desserts and coffee or milk. The cost of the supper is $10 for adults and $4 for children, and includes all you can eat. The church is handicapped accessible with plenty of parking in the church lot and across the street. The church is only four miles south of the bandstand in Exeter, and can be reached from there by following Route 108 South to Route 150 South. Newfields Community Church hosting Irish Supper

NEWFIELDS — The Newfields Community Church will be hosting its annual Irish Supper on Saturday, March 16.

The dinner will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church located at 71 Main Street.

The cost for seniors is $8; individuals, $10; and a family of four, $25.

Spring Clean Up Day in Newfields

NEWFIELDS — Spring Clean Up Day will be held Saturday, May 4.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the Newfields Water and Treatment Plant located at the end of Hervey Court. Gates close promptly at noon. Residents must show proof of residency.

There will be a charge of $10 for any item containing Freon.
