SOUTH BERWICK ó Historic New England presents "Make History," an exhibition featuring the work of Berwick Academy students in Studio Art Honors, Senior Studio Seminar, and Chamber Chorus. The exhibit runs through Saturday, May 18 at Sarah Orne Jewett House Museum and Visitor Center in South Berwick. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
As part of this third annual exhibition, ceramic art by Marshwood High School will be on view from May 4 through June 30, in the colonial kitchen of Sarah Orne Jewett House Museum.
Make History is the culmination of an educational collaboration between Historic New England, Berwick Academy, and Marshwood High School. For this exhibition, students created visual and performance-based interpretations inspired by immersive learning experiences at Sarah Orne Jewett House Museum.
Sarah Orne Jewett House Museum and Visitor Center hours through May are first and third Saturday of each month, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sarah Orne Jewett House Museum regular season hours begin Saturday, June 1, with weekly hours on Friday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., through October 13.
