Belitz assumes CEO leadership at Tighe & Bond

PORTSMOUTH†ó Robert Belitz officially became Tighe & Bondís president and chief executive officer Jan. 1, becoming engineering firmís ninth leader in its 108-year history.

Belitz, who has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, joined Tighe & Bond more than four years ago as the firmís chief financial officer. Belitz succeeds President and CEO David Pinsky, who retired at the close of 2018 after 13 years in the position and 31 years with the firm. Pinsky will continue as chairman of the board through April, while supporting Belitz and the firm on special projects.

Northeast Credit Union announces new AVP of mortgages

PORTSMOUTH†ó Northeast Credit Union announced the promotion of Chris Saucier from its East Regionís regional manager to assistant vice president of mortgages.

Saucier will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the mortgage department and integral in developing new mortgage products and services to enrich NECUís home loan offerings for a greater member experience.

Saucier brings more than 10 years of mortgage and banking experience, including in his most recent position where he oversaw six branch locations throughout Maine and southern New Hampshire. He is a graduate of University of Maine Presque Isle with a bachelorís degree in business management and served in various management and leadership roles at Ocean Communities Federal Credit Union, including branch manager of both Sanford and Biddeford locations and assistant vice president of sales and branch management where he directly oversaw the five retail branches as well as all mortgage production.

Starkey joins Bangor Savings Bank

PORTSMOUTH†ó Kathleen Starkey was recently hired by Bangor Savings Bank as a vice president and mortgage loan officer at the bankís office on Maplewood Avenue.

Before joining Bangor Savings Bank, Starkey served as an assistant branch manager and branch manager at Citizens Bank for more than 13 years. Born in Vermont, she moved to Maine in 1996, and attended Marshwood High School in South Berwick. Starkey received her accounting degree from the University of Northwestern Ohio.

She lives in Kittery with her husband and two daughters.

Volpe named Kittery Premium Outlets operations director

KITTERY, Maine†ó Simon Property Group, a leading global retail real estate company, announced Maine resident Matthew Volpe as operations director for the Kittery Premium Outlets. Volpe will be responsible for overseeing all operational functions, projects, construction and contracted services at the outlets, among other things.

Volpe has 30 years of technical and engineering experience. Most recently, he was a regional facilities manager for CBRE, overseeing the integrated facilities management team supporting 29 Schneider Electric I&M sites across the United States and Canada. He graduated with a bachelorís degree from Southern New Hampshire University where he majored in business administration and management and in 2011, he earned his masterís in organizational leadership, also from SNHU.
