8:42 a.m.: A pest control professional said he was being harassed by a neighbor at a home where he was removing a squirrel, for the second consecutive day. The neighbor also called police and requested an opinion from the animal officer about the legality of the traps being used. Information was passed to the animal officer, both parties agreed to stay on their respective sides of the street.
10:30 a.m.: Checked the home of a truant student, parent said it was an oversight not calling a school.
11:14 a.m.: Responded to Maplewood Avenue where a construction fence fell into the road.
12:38 p.m.: Responded to Union Street for a call about a van parked on the street for about a year and a power cord running from it and into a nearby house. A 72-hour sticker was placed on it.
1:32 p.m.: Arrested David Rodriguez Luna, 35, of 70 Constitution Ave., apartment 227, for two counts of theft from a building.
3:35 p.m.: Verbal warning given to a driver for displaying blue lights, window tint and failure to display proper license plate.
5 p.m.: Assisted at a home where there was a domestic argument.
8:17 p.m.: Well-being check conducted at a home following a report about concerning text messages.
10:30 p.m.: Assisted at a home where someone died.
10:51 p.m.: Checked a vehicle with two people living in it.
12:41 a.m.: Arrested Patrick Pickford, 35, of 3 Sheridan Ave., on charges alleging prowling, breach of bail conditions and resisting arrest.
12:41 a.m.: Caller said a man she knows stole her keys, then returned and threw them at her.
1:33 a.m.: Responded to Court Street for a call about someone banging on a door. Arrested Ronald Bachelder, 29, of the homeless shelter, on a warrant.
2:37 a.m.: Assisted Newington police with an arrest.
