Ham, Bean and Mac N Cheese Supper: Traditional New England Ham and Bean Supper, Saturday, Jan. 19 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Kensington Congregational Church located at 108 Amesbury Road on Route 150 in the center of Kensington. Menu includes two kinds of home cooked beans, best quality ham, baked mac & cheese, old fashioned brown bread, rolls, potato salad, coleslaw, home cooked desserts and coffee or milk. Cost is $10 for adults, $4 for children, and includes all you can eat. The church is handicapped accessible with plenty of parking in the church lot and across the street. The church is only four miles south of the bandstand in Exeter, and can be reached from there by following Route 108 South to Route 150 South. Ham and Bean Supper: Sponsored by the Madbury United Church of Christ, Saturday, Jan. 19, 5 to 6:30 p.m. Kids under age 12 eat free. Baked ham from George Calefís Fine Foods in Barrington, a variety of homemade baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, assorted breads, a 21-item salad bar, handcrafted fruit and cream pies, and beverages. The cost for the supper is $9 for adults and children age 12 and older. Supper will be at Madbury Town Hall, 13 Town Hall Road, Jan. 19. All are welcome.
Bowl of soup: Prepared by a local restaurant, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. every Friday, at the Newmarket Community Church, 137 Main St. Newmarket.This service is provided without charge, donations accepted.
Free community meal: 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, at Rochester Fellowship Kitchen, First United Methodist Church, 34 South Main St., Rochester.
Free community dinner: 5 p.m. every Wednesday, from the Table of Plenty, Berwick Methodist Church, 37 School St., across from Cumberland Farms.
Table of Plenty: 5-6 p.m. every Thursday. Community dinner at St. Raphael's Church on Whipple Road in Kittery, Maine. All are welcome.
