O'Neil Cinemas holiday blood drive exceeds goal
EPPING — O’Neil Cinemas hosted a blood drive with the American Red Cross at its theater in Brickyard Square on Monday, Dec. 24. The blood drive collected 36 life-saving units when the goal was 28.
“We could not have done this without the support of O’Neil Cinemas and that of the community,” said Anna Donahoe, account manager at the American Red Cross Blood Services. “It was amazing to see so many people come out and be willing to give the gift of life during such a busy time of year.”
This holiday season, the American Red Cross faced a severe blood shortage and issued an urgent call for eligible individuals of all blood types to #GiveNow and help save patients’ lives.
