PORTSMOUTH — The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth is partnering with the Portsmouth High School Career Technical Education Center programs to connect local professionals with CTE sophomore, juniors and seniors to showcase local career opportunities.
In the Career Pathways program, industry participants will visit Portsmouth High for two-hour interactive sessions with students. There will be a computer science/programming event Thursday, Jan. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a culinary arts event Feb. 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. To RSVP for the culinary arts event or for more information, email Ben VanCamp, vice president of What's Next, at email@example.com.)
Participating companies for the Jan. 10 event are slated to be: Alpha Loft, Athenium Analytics, HubSpot, B2W Software, Jvon, Mad*Pow, Southern New Hampshire University and Senet.
The CTE’s mission is to ensure each student graduates from high school and is college and career-ready. CTE programs include architecture/design-build, automotive technology, business/entrepreneurship, computer science/programming, culinary arts, education and teacher training, PPMTV video production and welding technology.
