PORTSMOUTH — Great Bay Community College will host open houses Thursday, Jan. 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. at its Pease International Tradeport campus and Advanced Technology & Academic Center in Rochester.
Faculty, staff, admissions counselors and advisors will be on hand at both events to assist with the application process and discuss program options and transfer partnership programs with four-year colleges and universities.
At the Portsmouth campus, representatives will be on hand from the College’s Center for Academic Planning and Support and Financial Aid office as well as the free WorkReadyNH employability initiative designed to enhance the workplace skills. Information will also be available on non-credit program offerings through the college’s Business and Training Center.
The event in Rochester will include a faculty and staff meet and greet and tours of the facility, which houses classrooms, quiet study areas and a 17,000-square-foot advanced composites lab. Information will be available on the advanced composites manufacturing program. In as little as six months, students can complete the certificate designed specifically to train composites technicians and composites operators and meet the needs of area manufacturers.
Information will be available on programs in Nondestructive Testing and Computer Numeric Control.
The events are free to the public. To attend either event, register at www.greatbay.edu/openhouse. For more information, email email@example.com, call (603) 427-7700 or visit www.greatbay.edu.
