Please join us for the Ogunquit Heritage Museum's Annual Open House during Christmas by the Sea, Saturday, Dec. 8 and Sunday, Dec. 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. It's the last chance to see our wonderful exhibits of 2018. We had more people than ever come through our door this year, almost 1,600!

Our exhibit on the Ogunquit Lifeguards, starting with Bette Davis in 1926, got the attention of WCSH out of Portland. They came down and did a segment on us for their show "207." Over 70 lifeguards attended their reunion in June and visited the museum.

So many came to see the Arnie Ginsburg display to reminisce, listen to the music and share the significance he had on them during their teenage years. Arnie was awarded Outstanding Citizen in September 2018 by the Town of Ogunquit.

The museum was loaned artwork painted by Norman E. West, DeWitt Hardy and George Burk that you won't see anywhere else as they are from private collections. They are magnificent and remind us that though the Artists themselves are gone, they will live on forever in their work.

The museum is beautifully decorated for the holidays under the direction of our Curator, Carole Lee Carroll. Her attention to detail is exquisite including Christmas trees, crèches, menorahs and much, much more.

Please stop by, have a refreshment and spread good cheer.
