PORTSMOUTH — The Chase Home met with Jim Carrigan of Meredith Village Savings Bank in a July meeting that led to a $1,000 contribution and $2,500 sponsorship of the agency’s fifth annual Wine & Chocolate Tasting.

The Tuesday, Nov. 13 event at the Atlantic Grill is the largest fundraiser for the Chase Home, which serves more than 140 at-risk youth annually statewide through prevention, early intervention, residential and community-based programs.

“We are not just a residential home for at-risk kids,” Wheeler said. “We are a clinical treatment facility that provides 24/7 supports and services. We also work in the community, schools, community health centers, primary care facilities.”

For Carrigan, the fundraiser is “a festive and fun evening that raises awareness for Chase Home’s supportive programs and their service to local at-risk youth.”

“All proceeds contribute to the health and well-being of local children being served,” he said. “Not only am I proud to sponsor, but I want to encourage everyone to join us for what is certain to be a fabulous night for the most worthy of causes.”

The Wine & Chocolate Tasting will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The Atlantic Grill is at 5 Pioneer Road in Rye. A limited number of tickets are available at www.chasehome.org.
