EXETER Partners for Womens Health, an obstetric and gynecology medical practice in Exeter, is proud to announce that they were among the sponsors of the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018 in Exeter. The walk raised $119,000 for breast cancer research and support services for breast cancer patients.

Partners for Women's health also aided in the fundraising through in-office promotions, such as allowing staff to wear jeans and pink tops on Fridays for a $2 donation, and by holding an in-house raffle for providers and staff. These efforts raised another $430 for the Making Strides event.

"We are always excited to help with the Making Strides event," said Sheila Pierson-Roy, practice administrator. "As a provider of women's healthcare, we are acutely aware of the toll breast cancer takes on women and their families, and the importance of raising funds to combat this disease. The walk is a great way to build support, foster awareness and raise money for this cause. We thank all of those who helped us with our fundraising."
