EXETER ó Exeter students will be hosting a Town Hall forum of panelists to help area residents educate themselves about gun safety.

The student activism group, which promotes gun safety, is called Exeter Orange and is compromised of students from Exeter High School, Phillips Exeter Academy, and Cooperative Middle Schoo. This will be the groupís third town hall forum.

The forum will be held Friday, July 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Exeter Town Hall located at 10 Front Street. The panel will be directed by Exeter High School student Ava Liponis and Cooperative Middle School student Ella Horvath.

This forum will be focusing about gun safety inside the home including domestic violence, safe gun storage, and firearm related accidents involving children. This will be accompanied by a panel of domestic violence survivors, law enforcement agents, and representatives from local crisis centers.

The public is encouraged to attend and audience members are promoted to ask questions to be answered by members of the panel.

The final forum of the series that will be focusing on school safety will be taking place on Aug. 17 and will have students as the panelists.
