A bean supper will take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 14 at American Legion Post 159, 102 Main Street, Kennebunkport (across from the police station). Menu consists of two kinds of beans, hot dogs, American chop suey, cole slaw, home-made biscuits, beverage and dessert. The all you can eat event is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Art Trail of the Kennebunks
Take a walk on the Kennebunks' creative side this summer as part of the Art Trail of the Kennebunks, a collaboration of 20+ local art galleries and organizations. The public is invited to take free, self-guided tours of our local art galleries, studios and organizations in Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel. Participating galleries will open their studios from 5 to 7 p.m. Fridays, July 13, Aug. 10, Sept. 7 and Dec. 7.
Square dancing on Sunday
Come join the Nubbble Lighthouse Keepers Square Dance Club for our summer dance, Sunday, July 15, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. with ER 7 p.m. at the M/M/P Level. Summer concert at First Congregational
Liesl Quigley, soprano, and student at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, with Camille Curtis Saucier, piano, will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Monday, July 23 at First Congregational Church, Kennebunkport. Annual Pet Show at KFL
Kennebunk Free Library will host its 26th Annual Pet Show on Monday, July 30 at 6 p.m. In the past, the library has been visited by a variety of animals from cows to hermit crabs – and everything in between! The Friends of the Wells Public Library will hold their Annual Book Sale at Wells Junior High School (next to the library) on Route 1, on Friday, August 3, from 5 to 8 p.m., with a $5 entry (free for Friends of the Library), and on Saturday, August 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., free for all. Benefit golf tourney in Wells
The Wells Branch Fire Association Benefit 19th Annual Open Golf Tournament will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 11 at Merriland Farm Par 3 Golf Course, Coles Hill Road, Wells. No tee times needed. Entry fees are $20 for 18 holes and $15 for 9 holes. There are adult and child divisions with cash prizes and a raffle. The rain date is Sunday, August 12.

The Wells-Ogunquit Senior Center has pancake breakfasts every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. You get pancakes, sausages, orange juice, and coffee all for $6 per person.
SOUP'S ON in Wells
WELLS — SOUP'S ON is a free community meal held at the Congregational Church of Wells, on Route 1 North. Lunch will be served on the first and third Wednesday of April and May. Serving begins at noon.
