Father's Day breakfast
A Fatherís Day Family Breakfast will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, June 17 at St. Maryís Hall, 236 Eldridge Road, Wells. Menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, hash brown potatoes, plus orange and apple juice, fresh fruit, milk, tea, coffee and water. Cost for adults is $8, children 6-10 is $5, and preschool free.
Square dancing June 17
Come join the Nubbble Lighthouse Keepers Square Dance Club for a summer dance, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, June 17 - with ER 7 p.m. at the M/M/P Level. The location is the Wells Activity Center, 113 Sanford Road (Route 109), Wells, and will host Don Batchelder as caller and Harriett Clarke as cuer. Funeral planning program
Good Shepherd Parish is sponsoring a presentation "Everything You Need to Know to Plan a Catholic Funeral and Burial Today." It will include Liturgical Rites of the Church as well as Catholic funeral and cemetery trends. Through Death To Life, a Catholic planning guide, will be used to complement the presentation. The program will be presented by John Fencik, Portland Diocese Director of Catholic Funeral and Cemetery Services. Two sessions will be offered: Wednesday, June 20 from 10 a.m. to noon and from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Most Holy Trinity Church, 271 Main Street, Saco. For more information, contact Bonnie at 282-3954.
Democrats meeting June 23

Calling all quilters
The Evergreen Quilt Guild will meet on Monday, June 25 from 6 to 9 p.m., at St. David's Episcopal Church, Route 1, two miles south of Kennebunk Village. Evergreen Quilters usually meet the fourth Monday of each month - except July and December. Newcomers are always welcome.
IWCNE meeting on June 27
The International Women's Club of New England will meet for lunch on Wednesday, June 27 at Clay Hill Farm, Cape Neddick. The speaker will be Susan Richards, author of three award-winning memoirs: "Chosen By A Horse," "Chosen Forever," and "Saddle." Bean supper July 14
A bean supp will take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 14 at American Legion Post 159, 102 Main Street, Kennebunkport (across from the police station). Menu consists of two kinds of beans, hot dogs, American chop suey, cole slaw, home-made biscuits, beverage and dessert. The all you can eat event is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Pancakes every Saturday
The Wells-Ogunquit Senior Center has pancake breakfasts every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. You get pancakes, sausages, orange juice, and coffee all for $6 per person.
SOUP'S ON in Wells
WELLS ó SOUP'S ON is a free community meal held at the Congregational Church of Wells, on Route 1 North. Lunch will be served on the first and third Wednesday of April and May. Serving begins at noon.
