The Bartender: Steve Arnold

Age entered the industry: 14 as a dishwasher and busboy at Goldie’s Deli

What he likes about it: I get to interact with people, different every night. I learn something every night. Wine is my passion and I love talking about it.

A good story: We take pride in getting to know all our guests. One of our bartenders, Mike, and his wife just had twins and one night it was his birthday. Everyone sang, clapped and cheered for him. We develop a real camaraderie here.

On winning the lottery: I would buy a vineyard. I want to make wine.

Dream job: To be a successful winemaker, to create a product people really enjoy

 

The Drink: Cucumber Martini

3 oz. Organic Prairie Cucumber vodka

1 oz. St. Elder natural elderberry liqueur

.5 oz. fresh lemon juice

Muddled cucumber (about one inch)

Shake hard with ice, strain into martini glass

Garnish with cucumber slice and lemon twist
