PORTSMOUTH – The Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce has unveiled its redesigned website, www.PortsmouthChamber.org.

“This new website is a first step in a longer process to improve our ability to tell the story of our membership, our community and our organization,” said Ben VanCamp, vice president, membership & business development for the chamber.

The new site uses the chamber’s membership announcements, content and events as the centerpiece for communicating to businesses, residents and visitors the most up-to-date news of the community.

“We have such an amazing membership of approximately 800 organizations that are accomplishing so much; it is time we prioritize their work and achievements,” said chamber President Valerie Rochon. “Our new website and email communications are exciting new channels in which we can highlight both long-standing and new members, along with the issues that are important to them.”

The site offers an updated look and responsive, mobile-ready design to automatically ensure optimal viewing regardless of the type of device used to access it. The homepage includes many new features, such as headlines of news from chamber membership, listing of new members, job opportunities, quick access to upcoming chamber and community events, and links to www.GoPortsmouthNH.com, the chamber’s visitors/tourism website.

The site also provides new marketing and communication opportunities for members. Members can post promotional information, job opportunities, calendar events and news by logging into their member portal. Login information can be accessed by contacting the chamber.

The chamber plans to further enhance the site with additional features in conjunction with local partners over the coming year.
